Setup
Start Year
Every yearPerformed at the beginning of every year. Game board updated, all yearly systems reset.
Start Month
Every monthOpening bookkeeping for every month. Counters reset, month marker advances.
Information
Role Distribution
Each player is presented with 2 random roles and must choose 1. Roles grant unique bonuses and abilities for the month.
Premonition
One designated player receives a psychic vision revealing next month's news in advance - a powerful edge if read correctly.
Advise
Players submit advice to companies. Corporate boards will act on it โ advice directly affects company stats and price. See the Dividends & Earnings section for how this plays out.

Dividends or Earnings Report A
Report AFirst financial announcement. Companies either pay dividends or release an earnings report affecting stock prices.
Announce News A
Major storyMajor news story breaks publicly. This is the primary market-moving event - react fast.
Trading Window A
Up to 3 tradesFirst trading session opens. Players may use their 3-trade budget across stocks, bear funds, and bonds.
Post-Trading Role Checks A
After Window ARole abilities tied to Trading Window A are evaluated. Bonuses and triggered effects are applied automatically.
Financial
Wizard Hire
Month 6+Players may contract the Wizard to plant a custom story into the B news slot, manipulating the market.
Dividends or Earnings Report B
Report BSecond financial announcement. Adds another layer of price-moving data before the minor news drops.
Announce News B
Minor storyMinor news story breaks. Smaller market impact than A, but can still shift prices - especially if the Wizard intervened.
Trading Window B
Remaining tradesSecond trading session. Any trades not used in Window A may be used here. Final chance to position before payouts.
Post-Trading Role Checks B
After Window BRole abilities tied to Trading Window B are evaluated. Effects and bonuses from Window B actions are applied.
Special
Launch New Stability Bond
PeriodicA new Stability Bond may be offered periodically. Existing holdings auto-convert to the new bond at value equivalency.
End-of-Month Payouts
All automatic financial settlements run in order: Loan deductions, Bear Fund fees, Stability Bond payouts, Restricted Funds, and Cash Interest.

End of monthFinal end-of-month role bonuses are calculated and applied. Last chance for role abilities to trigger.
Market Correction
All stock prices drift toward their true intrinsic values. Overinflated and oversold positions self-correct.
